What we collect

When you send us a message through the contact form or by email, we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message. We also use the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

We use your details only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, follow up an order and provide after-sales service and spare parts. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a contract, the performance of that contract, our legal obligations (for example accounting), and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.

Who sees it

Your data is never sold or rented. It is shared only with the service providers we need to run our business, such as our website and software host (Odoo), our accountant and our carriers, and only as far as their task requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to three years after our last contact. Data linked to an order is kept for as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Simply write to info@novatrade.be. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
