Step In Wall
By day, a quiet square of brass. By night, the wall seems to glow from within. The Step In Wall sits recessed in a wall, a stair riser or the stone edge of a pool, and lays a low, even light across the ground, so you see where you are walking without ever looking at the source.
Built to spend the winter outdoors, in rain and frost, it has nothing to fear indoors. The same Step In Wall that lights the garden steps can carry on across the front step, then up the staircase, along a hallway or set into wood panelling. From garden to house, the light keeps the same tone and the same line. At 57 mm square, it sits as easily in smooth plaster or an oak riser as in curved concrete or geometric stairs. 25° or 40° lens.
Solid raw brass that patinates with the seasons. The driver stays outside the fixture, within easy reach, and every part is available separately: repairing beats replacing.
Fixtures made to be handed down.
