Vespera

Vespera, floor uplighter in solid brass

Vespera takes its name from the Latin vesper, the evening. At 2700 K, or 2200 K on request, its light has the colour of the last half hour of dusk, and it rises from the ground the way the evening does.

The body is a plain cylinder of solid brass set straight on the ground, a terrace or a floor. The light lands where it is aimed, on the hedge, the wall or the curtain, without glare. At the foot of a hornbeam alley it draws each trunk out of the dark. Close to heavy curtains it brings out the depth of every fold.

Solid brass that patinates with the seasons. Every part is available separately: repairing beats replacing.

Fixtures made to be handed down.
