Vrille

Vrille, branch light on a copper stem in solid brass

A small brass head at the end of a one-metre copper stem that bends by hand. Wind it around a branch, the way a vine holds on to its support, and the light falls from above onto the lawn, a table or a bench.

When the branch has grown, or the light is wanted elsewhere, simply unwind it. Copper and brass darken with the seasons until, by day, Vrille is little more than a brown line along the bark.

Solid brass that patinates with the seasons. Every part is available separately: repairing beats replacing.

Fixtures made to be handed down.
